Car Insurance: Permitted Driver

We all have been there.  We forgot to get a car car insurance quote. We have a daughter that has her permit.  We all know what that means.  Learning to drive for the first time can be stressful and yes, full of unexpected accidents.  This time in my life, I thank my lucky stars that I have car insurance.  We never know how important having coverage is until we need it.

There is that ever present accident waiting to happen as we teach our children how to parallel park.  We don’t need a crystal ball to know that having car insurance at this point in life is a good thing.  The protection for the car and for the other cars out there is priceless.

When we allow the permitted driver to put the car in the garage for the first time, is also another time that having car insurance will comes in handy.  We as parents think that teaching children how to drive is great right of passage.  We want to teach our children how to drive safely.  We want to make sure that they learn correctly to be good drivers.  This is very important to parents.

So speaking as a parent of a permitted driver, take the stress out of teaching children to drive.  We as parents should give our permitted driver and us the assurance of having car insurance for all of life’s little mishaps.  We as parents will thank ourselves, when we take that extra step of covering our vehicles and those of the other drivers.

If we have car insurance it will insure that there will be less stress involved in teaching the permitted driver.  So before we allow that permitted driver to get behind the wheel, we need to make sure that we cover all our bases.  We can do this by making sure that we have coverage for our car.
